Salary: Grade F point 17-19, £10,996 - £11,452 (actual pay)

Northfield School is a large, 11–16 secondary specialist school and Sports College with state of the art facilities and interactive technology in a well-resourced newly refurbished building.

We are looking to appoint a positive, flexible, proactive and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant. The successful candidate will be a patient and caring individual who can provide effective one to one support to Visually Impaired students, with a strong emphasis on developing student confidence and promoting independent learning. Experience working with young people with a visual impairment and/or an ability to communicate using braille would be an advantage; however is not a requirement for the role.Northfield School and Sports College is committed to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed.
