Sports Leaders Events

Primary Schools Football Finals On the afternoon of Monday 4th February, the primary school football finals took place at Northfield School. With the help of our sports leaders refereeing the games, it was an enjoyable afternoon for everyone. Well done to all the teams that competed and for trying their absolute best. All teams showed respect to us as sports leaders and the opposition teams. The final went all the way to penalties; very exciting! Harry Potter Book Night 2019

Northfield School Library magically took on the guise of Hogwarts recently, as students and staff joined bookshops, public libraries and other schools across the country to celebrate the 5th Annual Harry Potter Book Night. Wizards, witches and muggles took part in a selection of games and activities including; the sorting hat ceremony, a Hogwarts treasure hunt, pin the sock on Dobby and a wand duel! Refreshments were provided by ‘Honeydukes’ sweet shop and the evening was rounded off with a rousing rendition of the quidditch chants composed by the students in their Hogwarts Houses. Northfield Students Upholding Our Core Value of Honesty!

A local member of the community was absolutely delighted and overwhelmed with the honesty of Northfield students.  She had withdrawn £100 from a cash machine this morning.  Unknown to her, it had dropped out of her pocket onto the pavement and nearby grass.  The money was found by a group of Year 8 students on their way to school who then handed it to Headteacher, Mr Henderson.  They were really anxious that the money be returned to its owner.The member of the public was absolutely thrilled to find out that her money had been found and handed in.  She was...
