🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Northfield Athletics Success 🏅🔥 Our Northfield athletics teams competed brilliantly at the Stockton Secondary Schools Championships this week, held at Middlesbrough Sports Village 👏 All selected pupils showed fantastic ability, application and attitude, delivering Northfield’s best results in a long time! 💪✨ With 15 Stockton schools competing, our pupils dominated the relay races and many track and field events, securing multiple 🥇 1st, 🥈 2nd and 🥉 3rd place finishes. 🏆 Boys’ Results 🥇 Year 7 Boys – 1st place 🥇 Year 8 & 9 Boys – 1st place 🥉 Year 10 Boys – 3rd place 🏆 Overall Boys – 1st place A phenomenal achievement! 👏 🏅 Girls’ Results 4️⃣ Year 7 Girls – 4th place 6️⃣ Year 8 & 9 Girls – 6th place 5️⃣ Year 10 Girls – 5th place 🏅 Overall Girls – 5th place 🥈 Overall, Northfield finished in an incredible 2nd place with 175 points, just behind Yarm School on 186 points! 💪🏽🏋️ Welcome to the Northfield School Fitness Suite 🏋️💪🏽 Did you know that Northfield Pupils can become members of our fantastic Fitness Suite from the start of Year 7? Our Future Fitness 🏃Membership provides our students with the ability to train in a safe and supportive environment, with guidance from our superb fitness trainers. 🏃 Future Fitness Membership Students can join using either option: • £1.80 per visit • £9.00 per month 🔑 Wellness Key System All student members use a Wellness Key, a special fob that plugs into each machine and records workouts. This allows our trainers to: • Monitor progress • Ensure pupils are training safely • Create personalised training programmes The Wellness Key requires a £12.50 refundable deposit. ⏰ Student Access Times (Term Time) • Monday & Wednesday: 3:10pm – 5:00pm • Friday: 3:10pm – 10:00pm • Saturday & Sunday: 8:30am – 6:00pm 🏫 PE Opportunities Students also use the Fitness Suite during PE lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with before school and lunchtime clubs also available on those days through the PE department.
