⛺ Expedition Northfield 🥾🌄 This weekend, Year 10 pupils completed a camp out as part of Expedition Northfield. They were brilliant, walking over 6 miles each day and successfully camping out overnight. 👏🌟 They demonstrated our core values: 💪 Resilience - They showed resilience in hot conditions, walking in the Yorkshire Moors and learning how to self-navigate a route. 🤝 Respect - They had respect for our countryside, staff and the local community. 😊 Honesty - They were honest when they admitted they hadn't packed their bag themselves, their mum had, and they didn't actually know what was in their backpack! 😂🎒 All staff involved were very impressed with the pupils' efforts throughout the weekend. 🌟 Well done to everyone involved! 👏⛺ #Northfield #ExpeditionNorthfield #OutdoorEducation #Resilience #Respect #Honesty #YorkshireMoors #TeamNorthfield #PupilSuccess #CharacterEducation

🎾🏓 This week pupils in Year 10 had the opportunity to give Padel and Pickleball a go in their PE lessons at The Padel Barn Sedgefield. Pupils had a fantastic time and loved trying something different they can enjoy as part of a healthy, active lifestyle. 💪😊 💃🥋 Next week we have a fabulous Dance workshop and MMA with Warriors Gym. ⚽🏆 Sporting Success – Year 10 Football 🏆⚽ On Monday, our Year 10 Boys' Football Team took part in the Stockton District Cup. 📚 On Tuesday 16th June, our Sports Leaders took part in a Year 1 and 2 Primary Literacy Trail at Wynyard Woodland Park where they led primary pupils through a number of literacy tasks based around the book "The Smeds and the Smoosby" by Julia Donaldson Some tasks involved finding rhyming words, taking part in Spy activities, completing memory puzzles and, finally, getting the baby alien back to his parents and rocket ship 🚀👽. Through these activities, pupils were taught that even though people are different, we can treat everyone with kindness ❤️. 🏆🌟Sports Awards 25-26 Part 2🌟🏆 🏆 Last night we hosted our annual sports awards evening to celebrate the sporting successes and efforts of pupils this year. 🎉👏 A wonderful night of celebration, starting with our most improved awards. 🌟 Then our special awards (team of the year, individual of the year and sports leader of the year) 🏅🏅🏅 The night ended with our pinnacle sports personality of the year awards. 🏆✨ There were some live performances from Northfield dance 💃 and the gymnastics club 🤸.
