We are delighted to shine a spotlight on Thomas, a Year 8 pupil who has achieved great success in the world of Jiu-Jitsu. 

Jiu-Jitsu Journey
Over the past two years, Thomas has been training diligently at Gracie Barra in Middlesbrough. His commitment and dedication to the sport have been evident in his regular participation in national competitions, where he consistently demonstrates exceptional talent and skill.

Achievements
Thomas recently emerged victorious at a Jiu-Jitsu championship held in Manchester, securing the gold medal in his category. His victory was achieved through a display of exceptional skills and determination, winning by submission. This achievement propelled Thomas to an impressive 6th place ranking out of 1,177 competitors in the Boys GI White League.

Throughout his Jiu-Jitsu journey, Thomas has earned an impressive collection of medals and awards, including:

• 7 gold
• 5 silver
• 3 bronze

Future Aspirations
