Pupils Enjoy Training Sessions at Benfica FC

93 of our pupils recently enjoyed an incredible trip to Benfica FC in Lisbon accompanied by our fantastic PE department.

76 boys and 17 girls from Years 8, 9 and 10 had the great experience of four training sessions with academy coaches within the Benfica training complex. The pupils also played against a local club, Seixal FC with three out of five Northfield squads winning their games. Onlookers even enjoyed some entertaining games from the Year 8 mighty ducks.

Pupils also enjoyed some sightseeing and even watched Sporting Lisbon v FC Famalicao, another fantastic experience for the pupils. 

Thank you to Inspiresport for organising the trip, who once again delivered a very memorable experience; This is the sixth football trip organised by Mr Alderson, and it certainly was one of the best.
