RE Guest Speaker

Today, pupils in Year 9 RE received a talk from Asa, a refugee who is originally from Afghanistan.

Asa arrived in the UK as an unaccompanied asylum-seeking child, aged 13.
 

He talked to pupils about his experiences in Afghanistan where he was born, life under the Taliban, his journey to Newcastle and how he rebuilt his life.
