A selection of Northfield's most promising athletes were invited to participate in a Celebration of Achievement ceremony.

In attdendance were local medal winning Olympians Richard Kilty and Faye Rogers.

The event, organised by Stockton Borough Council, gave our pupils the opportunity to share the achievements and experiences of former Northfield star (and double 60m World Champion) Richard Kilty and gold medal winning Paralympic Champion swimmer Faye Rogers.

The event was inspirational to our pupils who asked some fantastic questions of both athletes to gain an insight into the lifestyle and mentality of an elite competitor and the resilience and dedication required to be successful.
